There are no accounts on this site and nothing here asks who you are. This page says what is stored anyway, because “we don’t collect anything” would not be true.
What a comparison stores
When you submit article links, the site stores those links, the text it fetches from them, and the analysis it computes from that text. It keeps them indefinitely, so a comparison you made stays readable later.
None of it is tied to you. No account, no email, no identifier is attached to a comparison.
A comparison is readable by anyone who has its link. The address contains a long random identifier, and there is no index, search, or listing that would reveal one you did not share — but there is also no password on it. Treat the link as the only thing standing between a comparison and the public.
Fetching the articles
Article pages are fetched by this site’s server, not by your browser. The publishers you point it at see a request from this server; they do not see your address or anything about you.
Analytics
The site counts page views using PostHog, to know whether anyone is using it. Those requests are proxied through this domain, so they are first-party rather than a call to a third-party tracker.
What reaches PostHog: the page you viewed, where you arrived from, your browser, operating system and screen size, and your IP address, from which PostHog derives an approximate location. Processing happens in the European Union.
No cookies, and nothing stored in your browser. Analytics state is held in memory for the length of a page visit and discarded. That is also why there is no cookie banner here: there is nothing to ask permission to store. The trade-off is that the numbers cannot tell a returning visitor from a new one, which is fine for the question they exist to answer.
There is no session recording. Nothing captures your screen, your mouse, or what you type.
What this site does not do
No advertising, no ad networks, no tracking pixels, and nothing sold or shared with anyone. Fonts are served from this domain rather than from Google, so loading a page does not tell a third party you were here.

To ask what is stored about a comparison, or to have one deleted, email whateverhappensandsmile@gmail.com. Include the comparison’s link — without it there is no way to find the right one, since nothing is tied to a person.
